SACRAMENTO – UFC President Dana White has opened the door for the possible signing of Ben Askren , a former Bellator MMA champion and reigning ONE FC titleholder. Askren, though, seems far from flattered. Askren, who’s ranked No. 8 in the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA welterweight rankings , moved to 14-0 and claimed the ONE FC welterweight belt on Friday with an 84-second TKO win over Nobutatsu Suzuki. Askren, a two-time NCAA Division I wrestling champion and 2008 Olympian, is certainly a top welterweight, but he and White have had a rocky relationship.
