In the main event, Leon Edwards (16-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) continued to build himself up as a contender in the welterweight division when he beat fan favorite Donald Cerrone (33-11 MMA, 20-8 UFC) via five-round unanimous decision . Edwards’ victory again prevented Cerrone from overtaking several key records in the UFC history books.
