Filed under: News , UFC , Videos LAS VEGAS – In what’s starting to look like a pattern, welterweight Alberto Mina capped off UFC Fight Night 90’s finish-filled preliminary card with yet another triumph over a well-known MMA veteran. Returning to the octagon after a split decision win over Yoshihiro Akiyama, Mina (13-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) knocked out out Mike Pyle (27-21-1 MMA, 10-7 UFC) in the second round of their welterweight bout. The undefeated Mina certainly welcomes big names being thrown his way – and the wins that have been coming with them. But, as far as nicknames go, don’t expect Mina to call himself a “legend killer” any time soon. “I really respect Akiyama, who has a background in judo like I do,” Mina told reporters following his win. “Mike Pyle fought the whole top-10 in the division right now.
