LONDON – Not everybody was happy with the call that gave Claudio Silva a win over Danny Roberts at UFC on ESPN+ 5, but Silva is standing by the referee’s decision. Silva (13-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) met London’s own Roberts (16-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC) in a welterweight bout on the main card of Saturday’s event at The O2. Roberts was clearly getting the better of it on the feet until Silva was able to withstand some mean-looking punches and elbows on the ground before locking in the fight-ending armbar in the third round.
