CHICAGO – Ceremonial UFC on FOX 20 fighter weigh-ins took place today, and all fighters, including headliners Holly Holm (135) and Valentina Shevchenko (133), made weight without issue. After hitting the scales early this morning for the official weigh-in, the ceremonial festivities took place this afternoon at United Center in Chicago. The same venue hosts Saturday’s event, which airs on FOX following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. Holm (10-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) returns to competition for the first time since she lost the UFC women’s bantamweight title to Miesha Tate at March’s UFC 196 event. She meets Shevchenko (12-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC), a fellow striking-based fighter who will attempt to upset “The Preacher’s Daughter” for the most significant victory of her career.
