He once again proved why during a UFC 200 pre-fight interview with MMAjunkie on Wednesday. Sanchez (26-8 MMA, 15-8 UFC), who is readying for a lightweight battle with fellow octagon veteran Joe Lauzon (25-11 MMA, 12-8 UFC) on the UFC Fight Pass prelims prior to the FOX Sports 1 prelims and pay-per-view main card of Saturday’s event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, was in rare form at the UFC 200 media event. “The Nightmare” discussed his physical and mental preparation for Lauzon, his weight cut to 155 pounds, his desire to reemerge into UFC title contention and the motivation he gained through his past two training camps alongside Holly Holm and UFC 200 headliner Jon Jones.
