After a drop from light heavyweight to middleweight, Tim Boestch resurrected his career and eventually entered the title picture. Phil Davis is probably partially to thank. Davis (11-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC), who returns to action on Saturday in a UFC 163 co-headliner with Lyoto Machida (19-3 MMA, 11-3 UFC), entered the UFC after just four pro fights and won his first five fights in the octagon. One of those wins came against the always-tough Boetsch (16-6 MMA, 7-5 UFC), and it earned Davis “Submission of the Night” honors.
