With MMA now legal in the Empire State , WSOF is heading to New York for a network-televised event on New Year’s Eve. Officials announced on Saturday that WSOF 36 is slated for Dec. 31 at iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City, and the main card airs on NBC. WSOF, which usually airs its even on the smaller NBCSN sports-cable channel, first needs final approval from the new New York State Athletic Commission, according to a release.
