In Saturday’s headliner, Jones’ (26-1 MMA, 20-1 UFC) nemesis Adesanya (20-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC), the middleweight champion, will move up and challenge for the light heavyweight title against Jan Blachowicz (27-8 MMA, 10-5 UFC), who picked up the strap after “Bones” vacated it this past summer. If victorious, he’s teased a potential move up to the heavyweight division, where his anticipated clash with Jones could finally take place. If sincere in his forecast of the outcome, though, Jones thinks Blachowicz will put a screeching halt to any superfight plans. UFC 259 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
