Jon Jones ’ latest run-in with the law appears to have cost him the top spot in the official UFC pound-for-pound rankings. Jones, the former UFC light heavyweight champion, was arrested this past Friday morning on two charges: misdemeanor battery domestic violence and felony injuring and tampering with a vehicle. His arrest occurred in Las Vegas just hours after he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame fight wing for his UFC 165 classic with Alexander Gustafsson. Although neither fighter has recently competed, UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman (19-1 MMA, 14-0 UFC), who’s set to run things back with Colby Covington on Nov.
