At this past Friday’s Bellator 136 event, which aired on Spike TV from Bren Events Center in Irvine, Calif., Held (21-3 MMA, 10-2 BMMA) secured the win over lightweight Alexander Sarnavskiy (30-3 MMA, 5-3 BMMA) via third-round kneebar. The highlights also include lightweight champion Will Brooks (16-1 MMA, 8-1 BMMA) scoring a decision victory over challenger Dave Jansen (20-3 MMA, 7-1 BMMA), Rafael Carvalho (11-1 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) upsetting middleweight Joe Schilling (2-4 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) via split decision, and Tony Johnson (9-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) edging former heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov (24-5 MMA, 6-2 BMMA).
