Following nearly a two year layoff, light-heavyweight Alik Lorenz was able to return to fighting with a first round TKO of Fernando Alvarado at King of the Cage: Coastline this past February. While he didn’t have as much time as maybe he would have liked to prepare for the bout, Lorenz Is pleased with how the bout turned out and is ready for more. “It was a good fight,” Lorenz told MMAWeekly.com . “It was kind of a short notice fight, but it was a tough opponent in Fernando Alvarado, and I got that first round stoppage, TKO, so it felt really great to start the year off with a big win like that, a stoppage, and I’m ready to keep that rolling this next fight as well.” Part of why Lorenz had so much time off, was the fact he was relocating so he could improve his game
