It didn’t take much for Jason Jackson to become Titan FC’s new welterweight champion – and that’s the gripe Dhiego Lima will have for a long time. Jackson (7-2) stopped Lima (12-5) with a first-round TKO to take the champ’s title in the Titan FC 42 main event, which took place at Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Fla. The event streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. But Lima disputed what he believed to be an early stoppage, and may have been within his rights to do so. Regardless, Jackson walked away with the belt around his waist. Lima shot for a takedown early in the fight, hoping to give Jackson something to think about
