Cody East There was a big bump in the road that could have cost him his title, but perseverance helped  Cody East retain his heavyweight belt on Friday. East (10-1) was knocked down in the first round by  Brice Ritani-Coe (4-3), who took the Legacy FC 40 main event title fight on less than two weeks’ notice. But he survived and went on to pick up a second-round TKO. Legacy FC 40 took place at Wild Bills in Atlanta. The main card aired on AXS TV
