CES MMA 29 took place Friday at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, R.I., and the main card, which featured five stoppages, aired on AXS TV. In the headliner, former Bellator MMA and Strikeforce fighter Dominique Steele (13-5) upset former UFC and “The Ultimate Fighter” competitor Chuck O’Neil (15-7) to win the CES MMA welterweight title. Steele snapped O’Neil’s four-fight winning streak in the process. In the co-headliner, Matt Bessette (15-6) delivered some highlights of his own with a second-round knockout of featherweight Khama Worthy (7-4), who was out on his feet.
