The final leg of Cage Warriors’ second “Trilogy” series will feature a battle for the promotion’s most storied championship. The Cage Warriors lightweight title has catapulted a host of fighters from the U,K. regional scene to the global stage, with the likes of Conor McGregor, Stevie Ray, Chris Fishgold, Jai Herbert, and the promotion’s most recent 155-pound champion Mason Jones all graduating to the UFC. Another former Cage Warriors lightweight champ, Denmark’s Soren Bak, also transitioned to the global stage after joining Bellator’s 155-pound roster. Now, following Jones’ recent move to the UFC, the 155-pound strap is up for grabs once again, with England’s Jack Grant and the Netherlands’ Agy Sardari set to face off for the vacant title at Cage Warriors 119, which takes place Dec.
