Legacy FC 59 took place at Arena Theatre in Houston and aired on AXS TV. In the headliner,  Trevin Giles (8-0), who called for a shot in the UFC after emerging victorious, earned a submission win over  Issac Villanueva (11-8). The fight-ending tap came after an enthralling second round. Elsewhere on the card, Justin Reiswerg (10-6) used a slick submission to tap lightweight  Jason Langellier (4-1).
