ONE Championship featherweight titleholder Martin Nguyen (13-3) turned in another scintillating performance, dominating challenger Koyomi Matsushima (11-4) en route to a second-round TKO win. The contest served as the main event of Friday’s “ONE Championship 99: Dawn of Heroes” event, which took place at Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines. After a competitive first round was turned in by the two combatants, Nguyen began to pull away in the second. A right hand stopped Matsushima in his tracks and put the Japanese fighter on his back foot.
