Bubba Jenkins Standout wrestler-turned-MMA fighter Bubba Jenkins will return to the Bellator MMA cage on June 26 when he meets Joe Wilk at Bellator 139. The featherweight matchup will air on the preliminary card, which streams on MMAjunkie prior to the Spike TV-televised main card at Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kan. Jenkins, as well as a senior Bellator official, confirmed the matchup to MMAjunkie. Jenkins (8-2 MMA, 5-2 BMMA) will attempt to get back on the winning track after he suffered a first-round submission loss to Georgi Karakhanyan at Bellator 132 in January. The contest was pegged as a No. 1 contender bout, but Jenkins was unable to get past the far more experienced Karakhanyan and succumbed to a guillotine choke less than two minutes into Round 1.
