Filed under: News , Videos Did you miss Friday’s Invicta FC 20 main event, which featured arguably the biggest upset – and a controversial one, at that – in the promotion’s history? Check out the highlights between Yana Kunitskaya and Tonya Evinger , which headlined Invicta FC 20 from Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo. The event streamed live on UFC Fight Pass. In the main event, women’s bantamweight champion Evinger (18-6) surrendered her title to Russia’s Kunitskaya (10-2) when she tapped to an armbar at the 1:59 mark of the first round. The controversy, though, came when Evinger attempted to push off Kunitskaya’s face with her foot in an effort to free herself from the hold. Referee Mike England told her she wasn’t allowed to do that, perhaps interpreting the rule for no kicks or knees to the head of a grounded opponent to be what was happening, though another interpretation says posting with your foot off the head or face is indeed legal.
