Marcus Edwards put a stamp on his Combate Global debut on Friday. The 33-year-old welterweight made his debut with the promotion in the main event against Leo Rodriguez, a short-notice replacement who stepped up on a few days’ notice. Unfortunately for Rodriguez (13-3-1), Edwards (14-6) wasn’t interested in spending much time inside the cage at Cisneros Studios in Miami, as he ended the fight violently in the first exchange.
