Nevada State Athletic Commissions officials appointed him to the high-profile officiating role during a meeting today in Las Vegas. UFC 162 takes place July 6 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card, including Silva (33-4 MMA, 16-0 UFC) vs. Weidman (9-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC), airs on pay-per-view.
