Invicta FC will crown a new featherweight champion on Friday night, a fact which was made official when both title-fight competitors made weight Thursday. Pam Sorensen and Kaitlin Young both hit their marks for the main event of Invicta FC 36. Young (10-9-1) hit the 145-pound mark on the nose, will Sorensen (7-3) came in two-tenths of a pound under the limit. The belt has sat vacant since Felicia Spencer, who beat Sorensen to fill a previous vacancy last November, left to join the UFC.
