Paul Pierce believes former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor can return to the top. He just has to figures things out. Pierce, a former NBA champion with the Boston Celtics and 10-time all star, said McGregor’s fall reminds him of Kobe Bryant’s legal woes in 2003, when the Los Angeles Lakers legend had to deal with a sexual assault allegation made against him. If Bryant was able to rebound from that, Pierce doesn’t see why McGregor can’t. “I don’t know if there’s one piece of advice, but I think that you learn from your experiences,” Pierce told Submission Radio in Melbourne. “Some people, they get to the top of the mountain, and then they get pulled down and they have to grow.
