Regis Sugden Regis Sugden remembers being just a few years old when he and his older brother first started emulating their father. His father, Dean, by then already was a high-caliber kickboxer in the middle of a standout fighting and coaching career. He instilled an early love for the sport in his sons, who would both later make martial arts and fighting major parts of their lives. It started in the family, and it has stayed in the family. “My brother and I, when I was about 3 and he was 4, we would go get some gloves on and go in the backyard and pretend to be our dad and pretend to fight,” Sugden told MMAjunkie. “It was something we always loved, and we knew we always wanted to do.” Even though Sugden didn’t stick with kickboxing like his brother did, he has made the most of his passion with a promising career.
