Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has landed a leading role in Amazon Studios’ remake of 1989 film “Road House.” Filming begins next month in the Dominican Republic. McGregor will join Jake Gyllenhaal in the cult classic remake. McGregor’s role hasn’t been announced, but it’s been reported that he’ll play an original character. “Conor McGregor is very excited to expand his storied career to Hollywood,” McGregor rep Karen Kessler told Ariel Helwani in a statement.
