Exhaustion might be a fighter’s most dangerous enemy inside the cage, and that perhaps hasn’t ever been more evident than in the bout between Alex Munster and Rudy Gunawan on Saturday at One Pride MMA Fight Night 42. Not since Kimbo Slice’s encounter with “Dada 500” under the Bellator banner in February 2016 have we seen two fighters more gassed out in a fight. Munster (6-1) and Gunawan (9-2) were sucking wind badly by the time the second round hit in their welterweight fight at Studio ANTV in Jakarta, Indonesia, and it created one ridiculous scene. The momentum shifted back-and-forth to an almost comical degree.
