Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson and Ken Shamrock The Missouri Office of Athletics issued medical suspensions to four fighters from this past Friday’s Bellator 138 event. MMAjunkie today obtained the list of suspensions from the regulatory body, which oversaw the Spike TV-televised event at St. Louis’ Scottrade Center. Among those suspended was Ken Shamrock (28-16-2 MMA, 0-1 BMMA), who suffered a first-round TKO loss to Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson (5-2 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) in the headlining catchweight bout. The full fight highlights can be watched below. Shamrock, who nearly tapped out Slice with a rear-naked choke before the fight-ending blows, was issued a 30-day suspension for precautionary reasons.
