Tasturo Taira added a former UFC title challenger to his resume, but perhaps not the way he wanted. In his most recent outing, the Japanese prospect picked up a TKO victory over longtime contender Alex Perez in June. It was a very fight that only lasted about a round and a half. Taira got Perez’s back while standing and did a maneuver that badly injured Perez’s knee.
