Troy Lamson never has been one to choose the easy road. In fact, he’s never really had the option. From birth, Lamson has been a fighter because of an intestinal birth defect. Lamson spent three months in the neonatal care center before he was finally allowed to go home. Born and raised in Flint, Mich., it’s natural Lamson chose the career path that he did.
