Daniel Weichel is confident he’s the top contender in the Bellator featherweight division. If he has to prove it again this week at Bellator 159, he said he’s happy to do so. Weichel (36-9 MMA, 5-1 BMMA) said he would likely be challenging 145-pound titleholder Daniel Straus (24-6 MMA, 11-3 BMMA) at Friday’s Bellator 159 event if it weren’t for the champ’s nagging hand injury .
