Josh Samman LAS VEGAS – “The Ultimate Fighter 17” veteran Josh Samman came out against Caio Magalhaes looking like he wanted to recreate a highlight-reel knockout. But when Magalhaes (9-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) repeatedly popped him with a left hand, Samman (12-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) decided it was better to take the fight to the ground. As it turned out, he made the right decision. The middleweight bout closed out the preliminary card of today’s TUF 21 Finale event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on FOX Sports 1 following an additional prelim on UFC Fight Pass and ahead of a main card on FOX Sports 1. Samman busted up Magalhaes with a jab and charged in to secure a takedown.
