Ironically, it was Calderwood’s eventual move to get back to her feet that proved her ultimate undoing. The strawweight bout opened the UFC 203 main card at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Andrade (15-5 MMA, 6-3 UFC) ate an elbow that opened a cut early in the fight but locked on to Calderwood (11-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) and slammed her to the ground. Andrade slammed Calderwood again later, picking her up from inside the guard and driving her into the canvas. Calderwood eventually worked back to her feet but was locked in a guillotine choke
