Jimmie Rivera put his name in the history books by taking an impressive decision victory over the former WEC champion. The bantamweight bout was part of the UFC 203 main card at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Rivera (20-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) appeared to fully take over the bout when he landed a stinging leg kick that left Faber (33-10 MMA, 9-6 UFC) limping the rest of the fight.
