The latest edition of the Fighters Only World MMA Awards is set to take place Dec. 10 at Worre Studios in Las Vegas. While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on Fighters Only’s ability to host live events in recent years, company officials promise the upcoming ceremony will be broadcast live, with “celebrities, industry executives, personalities, and a who’s who of fighters” attending the “exclusive, VIP invite only event,” while fans can tune in and attend virtually. “For the past two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has made it extremely difficult, for a variety of different reasons, to put together a live event of any form,” Fighters Only CEO Rob Hewitt stated. “However, I am proud to say that it has never stopped us from producing the World MMA Awards ceremony to pay tribute to this great sport of ours.
