Sadibou Sy is headed to the 2022 PFL playoffs. It was a grueling and gritty 15 minutes, and perhaps not the most crowd-pleasing performance – but after three rounds, Sy (11-6-2) defeated former UFC title challenger Rory MacDonald (23-9-1) via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28). 2022 PFL 6 took place Friday at Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta. All Sy needed to earn a playoff spot when he entered the fight was three points, a win regardless of method. The fight was closely contested with much work done in the clinch and from technical striking distance.
