Following their comeback event at Bellator 242 last month, the promotion makes a swift turnaround as they return to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. for Bellator 243. The event boasts a huge lightweight main event, as three-time former Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler and former UFC and WEC lightweight champ Benson Henderson face off for the second time as they bid to move one step closer to a shot at the 155-pound strap currently held by two-division champ Patricio Freire. That fight tops a card that looks set to kickstart a number of the promotion’s divisions as the Scott Coker-led promotion looks to build momentum through the second half of 2020
