Pedro Rizzo returned to action Saturday after a hiatus of more than two years. After a win in his native Brazil, the heavyweight announced his retirement . The 41-year-old Rizzo (20-11) fought Andrew Smith at Face to Face 12’s main event in Vitoria, Brazil. Rizzo’s leg kicks were too much for Smith after five minutes, and he didn’t answer the bell for Round 2, giving “The Rock” a TKO win in his finale. Rizzo hadn’t fought since a decision loss in May 2013 to Satoshi Ishii in Japan. Prior to that, he headlined an M-1 Global event 11 months earlier, but was knocked out by Fedor Emelianenko in the first round.
