Some might have thought the extended layoff could have been a problem for the 27-year-old fighter. For Koch, however, after actually making it to fight week, cage rust was barely a concern. “I’ve been fighting since I was 16 years old,” Koch said. “I’ve been doing combat sports since I was 4. I’m not gonna have ring rust.
