Georgi Karakhanyan Georgi Karakhanyan ’s 2015 sure took some unwanted turns. After kicking it off in January with a first-round submission win in his Bellator debut, he ended it on a sour note, with a decision loss in December. In between, several knee surgeries. Tonight, Karakhanyan (24-5-1 MMA, 3-4 BMMA) faces the promotion’s former featherweight champion, Pat Curran (21-7 MMA, 12-3 BMMA), looking to get his Bellator record back on the winning side. And though he’s not expecting Curran to make it easy,Karakhanyan wants to do so decisively. “I know he’s never been finished, so I’m looking to finish Pat Curran,” Karakhanyan told MMAjunkie Radio.
