After a respectable 3-4 run in the UFC, Daniel Pineda  (18-11) is returning to the organization where he once won titles in two weight classes. Legacy FC promoter and owner Mick Maynard today told MMAjunkie the 28-year-old has signed a four-fight deal with the promotion, which currently airs on AXS TV. His return bout is slated for Legacy FC 37, which takes place Nov. 14 at Cowboy Dance Hall in San Antonio. An opponent hasn’t been determined. Pineda, whom the UFC cut after back-to-back decision losses to Diego Brandao and Rob Whiteford earlier this year, picked up victories over the likes of Pat Schilling, Mackens Semerzier and Justin Lawrence – all via submission – during his two-year-plus UFC run.
