LAS VEGAS – Collin Anglin hopes his win on Dana White’s Contender Series will act as a springboard for a successful career. Anglin (8-1) outlasted Muhammad Naimov in a back-and-forth war Tuesday night at DWCS 33 to earn a UFC contract for his spectacular showing. Naimov started strong, throwing an array of spinning attacks and putting the pressure on Anglin. But Anglin fired back in Rounds 2 and 3 as he mixed things up with his grappling and striking, using his superior cardio to turn things around and take control of the fight. “I was having fun in there,” Anglin told reporters, including MMA Junkie, after his win at the UFC Apex
