The MMA life hasn’t been an easy road for Rivaldo Junior the past four and a half years or so. After getting out to a 13-2-1 start in his pro career, the Brazilian thought things were looking bright. But at the same time, he was trying to balance going to college, holding down a job, and advancing his fight career. Something had to get the short end of the stick, and it wound up being his MMA record. Since September 2012, he has gone just 2-4-1, but at least he knows what was holding him back – and is hopeful he has put the worst of the rocky road behind him
