Despite being booked for a third time, Calvin Kattar doesn’t think his matchup against Jeremy Stephens is cursed. One of a dozen targeted matchups for the UFC’s May 9 return, Kattar (20-4 MMA, 4-2 UFC) vs. Stephens (28-17 MMA, 15-16 UFC) was originally scheduled to take place March 7 at UFC 248. However, due to an injury with Stephens, the fight was moved to UFC 249 on April 18. That event was eventually canceled due to restrictions stemming from the coronavirus pandemic
