Recent UFC light-heavyweight title challenger Alexander Gustafsson has defeated welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre to earn a spot on the upcoming “EA Sports UFC” video game, officials today announced. “It’s a thrill and an honor to appear on the cover of the first ever ‘EA SPORTS UFC’ game,” Gustafsson stated. “I want to thank all my fans, especially everybody in Europe, who tirelessly campaigned and voted for me. This is a huge win, and it wouldn’t have been possible without everyone’s support.” Gustafsson now joins recent opponent and UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones on the cover of the video game, which is slated for a spring 2014 release
