Alexander Volkanovski experienced firsthand some of the COVID-19 complications that have taken the lives of many around the world. The UFC featherweight champion was hospitalized with COVID-19 pneumonia after contracting the virus days before his scheduled title defense against Brian Ortega on March 27 at UFC 260 in Las Vegas.
