He doesn’t want to fight Jones in New York and has requested a break from competition after six fights in two years. Former title fight competitor and recent Cormier (17-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) opponent Anthony Johnson (20-5 MMA, 11-5 UFC) doesn’t think “DC” has earned the right to make such requests. Moreover, he said it would be in Cormier’s best interest to keep active and face Jones (21-1 MMA, 15-1 UFC) as soon as possible because, at 36, his physical limit could be reached at any moment. “I don’t know why he would say he wants six months off; maybe he wants time to heal, spend more time with his family and train more and just perfect his craft – I don’t know,” Johnson told MMAjunkie. “Do I see it as being selfish
