Anthony Smith Anthony Smith said he credits Josh Neer for kickstarting the six-fight winning streak that leads him into Friday’s Victory FC 47 main event. A win in that headliner could possibly result in a UFC contract. How does Smith (23-11) plan to thank Neer (36-15-1) for putting him in his current position? He said he intends to beat him up and either knock out or submit him in violent fashion. That doesn’t seem like much of a courtesy, but Smith said it’s a requirement as he enters a rematch with Neer at Victory FC 47. The event takes place at Baxter Center in Omaha, Neb., and streams on UFC Fight Pass.
