Ashkan Mokhtarian was ruled out of his flyweight bout at UFC Fight Night 142 earlier this week. Now we know why. Mokhtarian (13-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC) was set to take on promotional newcomer Kai Kara-France (17-7 MMA, 0-0 UFC) at the UFC’s return to Australia next week, but a UFC official Wednesday told MMAjunkie Mokhtarian had been forced out. UFC Fight Night 142 takes place Sunday, Dec. 2, at Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Australia
