The Nevada Athletic Commission has suspended Askar Mozharov in the wake of a positive drug test stemming from his lone UFC appearance. At a monthly commission meeting Tuesday, it was announced that Mozharov has been temporarily suspended by after he tested positive for a metabolic modulator in a drug test surrounding his June 4 loss to Alonzo Menifield at UFC Fight Night 207 . The ruling on this disciplinary matter was tabled to a future meeting. The commission indicated Mozharov and/or his representatives have remained in communication with the commission through the process. In the lead-up to UFC Fight Night 207, Mozharov was the subject of much controversy and attention when leading MMA databases Sherdog and Tapology discovered that his professional record had been falsified, which Mozharov denied doing. At the start of fight week, his record was recognized as 25-7
